PBExpo is a large-scale aviation Tradeshow hosted by PartsBase, bringing together more than 150 airlines, suppliers, and aviation industry leaders. Each year, the event is built around a completely new visual identity, requiring the development of a cohesive brand system that could scale across both digital and physical environments.
THE BRIEF
Build a brand from zero and deploy it across every tradeshow touchpoint before opening day.
THE CHALLENGE
Most tradeshow projects start with a brand already in place. This one didn't. I had to develop the visual language and immediately stress-test it across radically different formats — from a pocket flyer to a 10-foot jumbotron — all before the expo floor opened.
BRAND SYSTEM
Every element was built for modularity before a single tradeshow asset was touched. Logo, color, and type — designed to lock together across any orientation, size, or substrate.
Signage & Booths
The branding system was designed to be flexible and modular, allowing colors, typography, graphic elements, and layouts to translate seamlessly across multiple formats and scales. This included tradeshow signage, booth graphics, social campaigns, one-pagers, digital ads, Jumbotron graphics, motion assets, and directional event materials.
Designed as a brand environment, not a backdrop. Every element considered from the sightline of a standing visitor walking the floor — backdrop, tables, overhead signage. Retractable banners, hanging signs, and directional panels. Every piece designed with environmental scale in mind — legible at distance, on-brand up close.
Working across both print and digital design, I collaborated on creating visuals that not only reinforced the PBExpo brand, but also enhanced the attendee experience throughout the convention environment. Every asset was designed with visibility, scalability, and brand consistency in mind — whether viewed on large overhead signage, social media, event screens, or printed collateral.
